The guy who recently mastered our 16 songs for the Sean Conneries upcoming CD/LP passed away. I was introduced to him by Rob Preston who recorded our songs - Gary had a space in the same building. I spent a few hours with him working on details - I learned so much from him watching him work. He was a bass player also and there's a couple songs on this link. Needless to say we got along great in the little time I spent with him. Rest In Peace Gary.

Lefty EB 13 is also available for backorder.

I have a hard time believing that would be anything except a dummy listing. Those are really good bass guitars. Of course Gibson stopped making them as soon as anybody figured out how good they are. As far as lefties, I have never seen one, but that doesn't mean they didn't make a handful of them.

Once you become a 'Bird person, it's hard to play anything else. At least that's how it worked for me. I have three non 'Bird shaped bass guitars. None of them gets played much. The EB-2 is semi-retired. The EB and Precision just don't leap into my hands for some reason. Especially if there's a Thunderbird around.

It doesn't happen to everyone that way.

Last song of the night, I'm playing the BaCH, I have to hand it to Sophia, she tripped and fell about halfway through the second set, breaking her wrist in the process - she didn't know it at the time, just that it hurt. We finished the set and played most of the third, stopping at 1:00AM per the casino with this song. The X Ray was ugly!

V - sounds fantastic! I think I actually like the sound of this band better than your last one. And what a trooper Sophia is! Talk about the show must go on.

I just ordered one. The receipt says it comes with a left handed thunderbird case. Card won't be charged till the bass is shipped.

Yeah, like the “Epic Firebird” I purchased from them that turned out to be a BaCH Thunderbird. GC’s ineptitude, especially in the used gear department, frequently works in your favor.

I think you all sound really together- especially through a less than stellar recording interface. Pretty great, would've liked to have been there to hear it for real...

Absolutely like this band line up even more than the last one!
BTW - the real test for me with you playing the NR pickups was your finger style tone. A skilled player like yourself can easily coax a sweet driving bass tone from those pickups with a pic, as you always do. The real test is finger style, where not as much bite and grind is available, you delivered that song with those pickups and playing finger style in spades! I’m sold on the NR pups probably being the best bang for the buck on the Tbird pup market today. Thx for posting.
