How am I so busy all the time? I can play again, but I seem to have so little time to actually do it these days.

Today, we went bowling to celebrate my brother's birthday. Went for lunch afterwards. I felt the need to scrub my hands well as god knows how many people have handled those balls...
intentional but you’ve always been ballsy…,

Was on a business trip in the 90s with our sales guy. We decided to go bowling south of Boston. Walk in and go WTFender?

I know there's bowing skills involved, but those skinny pins just seem easier to topple.

I suppose so. Anti-compressor is the best I can think of.

From this demo, it seems to neuter the bass response. I don't slap and I like mid-definition but not something I would use. Thanks for posting!

It is rare that Remembrance Day is on a Saturday. Only about 1/7th of the time... I took my daughter (as I used to before she started school). Didn't run into any former colleagues this year, but had a meaningful conversation with my daughter about wars, their origins and resolutions. And expressed my disdain for having politicians lay wreaths as they cause the wars but suffer none of the harms.

Very well said.

Good evening Thunderbird loving sisters and brothers. I hope all have had a good weekend. Spending a little time with the Bird this evening before my lesson tomorrow. The band I describe as "Eastern fusion "played last night at the Fall Folk Festival here in Spokane. It was a much larger and diverse event than I expected. It was great fun and our music was warmly received. I confess to acquiring a taste for gigs where the system and a sound man are supplied. I was pleasantly surprised while warming up in a small room off stage, I heard another group nearby doing the same thing. Imagine the Soggy Bottom Boys from O' Brother Where Art Thou covering the Grateful Dead. I couldn't stop grinning. It made me wish I had any ability on an upright. At any rate the gig was fun, I thought we sounded good, and the crowd was very appreciative. I hope we play this again next year. I hope everyone is enjoying a relaxing evening.
Cheers.

Sounds like you had a memorable experience. I love playing live and the better the sound system is the better the experience is! :bassist: Like many here, I'm what would be considered an "amateur" player. (as in, not pro) So I gauge my live shows depending on how memorable they are. Some were unfortunately memorable in a negative way for one reason or another, but luckily that hasn't been the case lately. If playing music wasn't memorable - I think I'd move away from it as it does take a lot of energy to put yourself in that position that could be spent more productively elsewhere.

5? I thought it was 4. My 3 players have EBCFs, and if I ever get round to finishing The Project, it’ll start with those.
I’ve heard of the Flat Earth Society. This place is starting to sound like the Flat String Society.

Chromes on a MIM P and DA tapes on the Epi TV Silver Tbird. Everything else has stainless rounds of one type or another.
