I’d pass on the $350 one, not the magic pu location. The $400 one however, is the bees knees and has the pu in the right place for fun and pleasure.

Thanks a million!
I was getting a little hung up on the similar impedance in each position (Les Paul player where that’s almost a necessity) but I’ll take the word of the experts. Also the price isn’t bad at all.
Do you have preferred pot values for the 60s tones? I’m seeing some different/conflicting info out there so far.
my three point bridge also may need a replacement. Looks like the a string saddle is kind of jacked up - literally.
Thank you all for the warm welcome
Happy birthday, @Nocturnal!!!
You mean GC here in town actually has something I would be interested in and Thunderbird related? What's the world coming to?I was at my local GC today and they had this Epi 60's thunderbird and man I was sweating I was so close to buying it. It had a nice flame to the top, great action, great sounding pickups, and NO neck dive!! Someone please buy this before I do

So you finally found something out west that isn't brown and has color?

i txted my bandmates and they are not helping...
The only thing keeping me from buying it is that I've been saving up for an aguilar tonehammer and some cabs. t
I'll have to have a look at a couple of my Birds for pot values, but I'm hoping some of my guys here will chime in too.
We encourage questions here so do feel free to ask, the "search" function isn't great.

Happy birthday @Nocturnal !
As if that required a special occasion! Thanks guys! My wife keeps referring to this as a "landmark" birthday. Doesn't that sound like it requires a new bass purchase??
