I'd even consider that cab, just don't need the head. Almost identical to the 200S I already have. A side by side Concert Bass head into a 215m and 200S into a 215 would be nice

Six power tubes? What is that one? I know of the original Fender 400, Sunn 300, and Plush made one back when. I know they made at least one of those because it was in a shop getting repaired locally when I was in that shop with a guitar amp. And SVTs have 6. That's all I know about.

the highly evasive/sought after SVT-II (non pro)….6 x 6550…paid 650 bucks (along with its 1540 fridge) at a local pawn shop because it needed a factory upgrade which I performed…...ironically, never really (still don’t) cared for Ampegs..

What would anybody do with that? The only thing better than excess is more excess, but I'm not sure that's even more excess. It may be beyond more.

SVT's pop up here once in a while, and I can resist those well enough, but I would not be able to resist a V4B....

I have the pf50t and I haven't been able to turn it up enough to get growly... I just don't think it has it in it....

I was able to resist some local Sunn, Hi-Watt and Acoustics here lately...

If I was smart I's just get another Genz-Benz or a Rumble...

PF210he, PF410HLF, PR410HLF, SVT210AV, Yorkville XC808.... I think that's it.....

Oh well I was going to suggest a different cab, I think you missed a few

Joking aside, I changed the v1 pre and it helped, but never got the anger out of it like a v4b. Also through assorted cabs. Seemed to be the best through the 210

The flip-top it usually lives with is actually a pf210HE, I edited the above post. that's the one I use most.

I haven't tried it with the SVT210av by itself, maybe that would get dirtier. the yorkville and PR cabs are 4ohm, everything else is 8ohm.

I'm not one to mess with amps a whole lot, so I haven't really looked at tube switching, and it gets dirty with a pedal so I haven't felt I missed out on much

Interesting. It appears to have a solid state pre and a tube power section. That's a little backwards from the usual theory, but I have seen other amps that work that way. If you don't care for it but can turn a profit, it sounds like a pretty good deal. I don't have the technical skills to do that kind of work, but it has its appeal.

I dunno. Maybe a forklift. I can imagine that it's not all that much heavier than any other big tube amp. Once you get done with the transformers, the rest of the parts have weight, but not as much.

Which model of Hipshot Xtender works on the small Wilkerson tuners on my '19 and '21 Vintage Pro's? Is it regular key (vs short key) BT1?

This is the ticket. Super expensive and exotic setup. But, 2x15 for your pleasure

There is a Marshall bass head (VBA400) that has the same power rating. Definitely on the excessive side for power.

The KT-120 mod in my Fender Bassman 300 bring it up to the same neighborhood. I don't know why the guy did that... But it only runs clean anyway, so there's no point, really, in buying a set of KT-88s to bring it back down to its normal, modest, 300w spec... But it's excessive too, yep.

I lifted a big heavy amp (forgot what brand) like that once and couldn't believe how heavy it was.
