I wonder whose bass that originally was, anyway.
It was probably Paul McCartney's.
I mean, who else would have enough clout to get Gibson to one-off a bass for them?

LEMMY!
Not in 1967, he was still pretty unknown I think.
Gibson would've been like, "Lemmy Who?"
Yeah, he probably wasn't even in Hawkwind or roadying for Hendrix yet.
Who's Joe Bonamossa?

Exactly! A mystery to me too. I just see his name on all this gear (amps and other stuff). And I am like, ***?Mystery to me...
I just hot rodded my Acoustic Electric Bass with a custom tuner array. It's a bit neck heavy now but it sure sounds awesome!

That's Klassy!

Six part harmony. That's a masterpiece of arranging skill.
Who's Joe Bonamossa?
What makes you think metal players worry about playing in tune?...but the big question is:
Which tuner is best for metal???![]()
Right? There are plenty of other Gibson players. Including bassists. Make a Shavo signature T-bird, maybe.Exactly! A mystery to me too. I just see his name on all this gear (amps and other stuff). And I am like, ***?
And that was my point. The Gibson "brain trust" must think "this guy" (not a household name) helps sell their guitars. Why not make a little effort with basses (not with his name - just using him and his gear as another odd example of Gibson's business model)?
Well, Catapult uses Boss TU-3s and TU-2s. So I would say that....but the big question is:
Which tuner is best for metal???![]()
Joe is right there with with all the other guitar gods in my book! He and Derek Trucks will carry the Clapton, Gibbons, Stevie Ray tradition long after those guys pass(ed) on. In fact I hear Clapton is already having serious playability problems. Now all I need to be whole is a solid replacement for David Gilmour.
Here's a fine guitar wankfest with a side serving of Dusty Hill...
Enjoy
Because we do? It's very important to get a tuner that can track low tunings. What makes you think metal players worry about playing in tune?![]()
Don't be making fun of polka metal music. I'm still trying to form a heavy metal polka band. So far, I just haven't had any luck finding plaid leather pants (or anyone willing to wear them).Stoner blues pop rap disco polka metal queen.
