I like(d) when we were averaging one per weekend-sometimes two. We ain't gots no more in 2023. Not even NYE(the two places we used to play, alternately, aren't using live music anymore)

I really liked the early BeeGees. I didn't appreciate their later work, but that was because I didn't care for disco in general (whereas I like funk).

I thought that was the Flying V (not to be confused with the Queen V, flying or otherwise).
They were very good at what they did. The harmonies were spot on and the songs were well produced.
But.
I [strongly dislike] most disco and I'm not a big fan of guys singing the whole bleeding song in falsetto. I say this while acknowledging the fact that I have a stupidly high falsetto range(A above the treble clef staff any time; up to C on a good day). Great for harmonies-or the ending of "Unchained Melody". Otherwise

Right! I was just discussing my preferences. They put out quality music in whatever genres they played in.
Yup. I can appreciate how well someone does something I don't particularly care for-or(normally)listen to.
Also, I gots to admit, I'd sorta like for my falsetto-ing to have the "edge" that Barry has.

Well, give it a neon colored tracksuit and shave it a mullet. This is the kick drum of a Simmons electric drum kit. I plugged it in and it works. The shop also had the pads which were going away for next to nothing. It was spray-painted over in black, and you can just see the name "Stingray" standing proud. Heck, even the name of the band this thing was used in, sounds typically eighties.
Now I need to source a module, and we can have some fun using it in my home studio.
EDIT: I was wrong, it's not a Simmons, it's a TAMA.

his bass lines never have a repetitive pattern to them so, he either plonks along to the rhythm track when laying down his part meaning it's never the same live, or has the part written out by the arranger….regardless and with all due respect, to me he sounds more like the least accomplished of the guitarists delegated to bass duties…purely speculation on my part of course…
I am not of that faith, so no.
