Hi all. I've been inactive here for quite a while (missed probably 300 000 posts...) as I've been busy and some changes have occurred in my life. All fine anyway. Hopefully everyone else is too.

Not here. I’m pretty set with Powersteels and Dunlop SS MM Superbrights.

Any Duncan Browne fans? I only recently found out his late seventies solo albums that have a cracking backing group of Simon Phillips, John Giblin and Tony Hymas. And also this band he was a part of.

No, I don’t think so. Too soft I guess.

But our local guitar & bass builders use local trees as well as the usual tree woods. My Maton acoustic guitar has neck, back and sides from Queensland Maple which has mahogany tone.

And when used as firewood, it causes creosote buildup in chimneys.

I've got my eye on a Greco Thunderbird on Ebay at the moment.

That is about the only way I can eat it as well. I can deal with it if its in gumbo, but I prefer my gumbo okra free.

Bhindi Masala is consistently one of my favorite Indian dishes. Okra at its best, IMO.

I've already been using them on my BC Rich Bodine and love them on that. Once I tried them there, my string search for that bass stopped. But I'm now curious what they're like on the Thunderbird. I've tried Dunlop's MM Super Brights and never liked them that much. The black-box/standard ones are higher tension, which is what I like. I wish they did 50-105 sets in that, though.

No, but I'm going to try them. I have the Powerwounds (nickel on hex core) on my Orville and if the Foundations are brighter without being too stiff, that might work.
