Thank you Donnie. It is flawless. I still recall when in popped up on Reverb. I was in SLO for work and saw it on the site during lunch. Pulled the trigger immediately. It came from a store in New York that was somehow affiliated with the Babicz people. Great place to deal with.

Hopefully it simply doesn't have any butter or milk products. Which we can hopefully assume this is the case. At first blush it's funny reading it regardless. But hey, I live in Kentucky and are limited to regular potatoes and not the fancy meat ones that can possibly be found in some places.

I think the words of wisdom/sober functionally reality is we all have our preferred amps that help deliver the sound we want to hear. There may be some overlap, but whatever works individually for each of us is what inevitably works best. (for us individually) Debate player-to-player, functional need-to-need at this point is... (at best) pointless.

the SVT gets used once a year for GTGs….the Ashdown for outdoor (easier load in) gigs….the ACC never leaves the rehearsal room…..need I continue?……

I must say that I’ve successfully tried different head/cab combos of the stuff in the pics…

Nah, refin yours. You'll be waiting much longer for Epiphone to do that color than it would be to do it yourself.

As much as I absolutely love my Ampeg V-4BH tube head and 410 heritage cab, I would likely not be dragging them around to smallish gigs. Not on a regular basis anyway. The head and cab are both substantial. The V-4B RI and 212 would be much easier as would the second V-4BH and the Fender 115 Eminence. The small Ashdown RM 300 would get serious consideration if there was a lot of getting in and out or it was a challenge. (Borrowed TB pic.)

those sound choice….next on my list of Class D…..playing through one with Mark Gooday some years ago….that man knows how to voice a bass amp….

I came close to an impulse purchase when there was one hanging on the wall in the local GC when I stopped in to pick up an emergency set of strings last year. Only time I’ve ever seen one there. But it was already “used” as is so typical of that dump.

IT HAS ARRIVED! And honestly I am floored by how much I like it. Even the smell... And weighs right at 8 pounds.

BUT, it has an issue that could have happened in shipping (from Chicago music exchange). The neck pickup has an odd vibration thing happening. If I touch the pickup, the vibration stops. Could this be a spring issue? It looks like someone had gone at the pickups pretty good and started stripping the screws.

I'd love to keep it depending on how CME wants to approach the situation, hopefully it's an easy fix. If I do keep it, I'll probably move the strap button to prevent it pulling forward so much. Neck dive really isn't an issue on this one to me but I can't deal with the pull on the body.
