My first ever concert was in Portland - April Wine 1982/3 at the Portland Coliseum.

I kept my Precision. I don't play it much, but there are times it is the right tool. It may be surplus when the P-Bird gets finished, but we will see about that.^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
This is the gut feeling i have.
Can i keep my Jazz Bass?

That's not an ad, is it?
I don't know, man.... I think I would remove one piece of black hardware...
Oh wait, are we talking about the bass, or..?![]()
By the way Gaolee, how's the weather in your neck of the woods?
I used to live in PDX form '93-97, then again from '01-'07.
Not sure i really miss it, but it sure beats the heck out of NYC.
Don't let Will sugar coat the Seattle weather, it's been pretty rainy this month and since October last year we've had like 5 sunny days. My yard is soggy, to put it nicely.
It's Lowe Custom Guitars parts, and I'm going to be finishing the body, putting on the hardware and wiring it up. It's going to have a Tele-bird six string counterpart, just to complete the mixed metaphor. The Tele-bird isn't Lowe Custom parts, which means it's been a whole lot more work to get things to fit, and has already taken quite a bit of extra prep work. My wife doesn't want any spraying, water based or not, in the house until the windows can be open this summer. So, those are on hold for the time being. I'll be attempting a burst finish.Who is building you that P-bird?
The peas and spinach in the garden seem pretty happy, though. It's been a little cool for them to grow much, but they are growing slowly. Flowers are late this spring, and the trees haven't started blooming except plums, which are just beginning to get around to it. The Camellia is usually blooming by now, but it's showing no signs of anything like flowers yet.Don't let Will sugar coat the Seattle weather, it's been pretty rainy this month and since October last year we've had like 5 sunny days. I do. ;-)When you see the one you'll know. Some people find it right away, some people go through a couple before they find it, and there are some still looking. But never expect to own only one Thunderbird, so it's your call to wait or buy one for a decent price. Which ever you choose it probably won't be your last.
Well unless Gibson makes lefties again, it's pretty much been decided for me.Good luck with that!
Or as they say "famous last words"
Used market, broWell unless Gibson makes lefties again, it's pretty much been decided for me.

Edit, had added a bunch right after posting, scroll up hahaHmmmm, I hadn't considered the same model.
Not absolute, no, but the Thunderbird has definitely quelled GAS a lot. This applies to other items as well, not just thunderbirds. Unless you have absolute immunity to OCD and/or GAS
