When I started with Seattle Lighting 20 years ago my first assignment was to the downtown Seattle location for training. Perilously close to Bass Northwest I soon walked the three blocks and found a beat-to $#%^ '76 Thunderbird for 999.00, it was almost too much for that bass as it almost no finish left on it and had a Bartolini in the bridge position. Still, I couldn't resist as it the first Bird I'd seen in Seattle in 15 years.I of course met Even and he mentioned that he'd owned many Thunderbirds and Victorys during his time in TKO and it was he that put me in touch with Mike Lull when I decided that old '76 needed a refin. By that time I had met some cool folks online that really got me into Birds with chrome bits, an expensive love affair that continues today.
First pic I ever posted on TB with that old '76.
