I think what is fun to watch is how she has gained confidence over the years. Aubert has nudged her to be more out front. She sings lead on two to three songs a show now.You know she's in a band, right? I'm not sure you ever noticed the others on stage or not.
It has the same pickups as Dave’s National and my SR Silvertone.

Im not a fan of any of these colors.
In the pic further up that seems to show all of the upcoming offerings, one of the Thunderbirds looks like a VP/60’s model. Would this one pictured actually be a “Gibson” (not Eppi) with the two piece bridge and vintage pickups/rings?
The colour of that pickguard is one thing, but its made worse by the shaping where the guard meets the neck.All this talk of Tort and sunbursts reminded me of this Epi NR that I saved pics of years ago.

The cool pic would be George's white 70s P that looks like my old J together. Other than years, you'd swear they were related. It's a beautiful Pbass.
The J that George has the twin of. Fortunately the tort is more subtle inside.

George is going with me to see SSPU at the Ventura Theater 02/08. Such a great club to have friends to meet up, go to shows, play basses, etc.
There’s an opener from New York, Hello Mary. @BklynKen or @JJR58 , you guys know them? I’m vaguely familiar with them but know very little about them. They’re a young looking alt band. Should be great!

If you look at the vid for the new Gibson Falcon guitar amp, there is what could be a new blue Epi Firebird. Sort of a Sonic Blue. So who knows about basses. Maybe we’ll find out more today as NAMM news comes out.
