So about 51 years.

I was doing the 7enders like the game started, but if we’re going oldest to newest:

(I have an aftermarket body and other non-original parts, so maybe this is cheating…)

The 2022 VP is for sale if anyone here is interested, PM me. It is not listed anywhere yet.

That’s a lot of money for Dr Strange’s un-reanimated, somewhat mauled corpse.
The local Greco Thunderbird on Craigslist is down to $850 now. If it wasn't all black on black, my wallet might be stirring just a little. I don't like black instruments that much, especially all black like that. And I'm completely shallow. Besides, I'm pretty happy with what I already have. More heresy.

I give a lot of grief to those with sunburst and tort, but in the end it’s a classic look especially on 7enders.

@dagrev red does take some of to harshness out of tort, even I have one… until I make a new pickguard anyway… it will be black since that’s all the material I have.

The 7ender Tony Franklin comes with what I call “goth tort” but it got replaced with pink mirror rather quickly.

I even made an ebony thumbrest even though I use a pick…

I actually like "Goth tort" a lot. Same with the pearlescent white version. I do not claim to be consistent.

I love the red ones that show up from time to time but I agree, white is lovely too. I can’t believe that Epiphone have currently discontinued the white model in the Thunderbird 60’s bass line.

Would love to see one in Alpine White with gold hardware scheme as with this special edition Bicentennial Firebird from 77- note this one is an original and has since yellowed as that color is wont to do_

Would look rather phenomenal not-yellowed as with this Lizzy Hale Explorer-

George is going with me to see SSPU at the Ventura Theater 02/08. Such a great club to have friends to meet up, go to shows, play basses, etc.

There’s an opener from New York, Hello Mary. @BklynKen or @JJR58 , you guys know them? I’m vaguely familiar with them but know very little about them. They’re a young looking alt band. Should be great!

I don’t know them, but Ken might.
He gets around way more the I do.

I think what is fun to watch is how she has gained confidence over the years. Aubert has nudged her to be more out front. She sings lead on two to three songs a show now.
I really like her singing. More so than his really. He's a great singer, it's just that whispering kind of singing just doesn't resonate with me for some reason. I do like it when he belts it out.

Looks like Marshall will be in the market for a new Thunderbird.
Oh my. And perhaps a Firebird. So it looks like I may be parting ways with my ‘17 Ebony VP. It’s a great bass. But I do not need two of them. We’ll have to see. Maybe @godofthunder59 would like it. He only has what, five or six of them by last count? It sucks that shipping used basses with through or set necks is so freaking expensive.

I looked them up. They were 16, 16, and 19 when they released their first record in 2020. Only one of them is allowed in a bar even now. Amazing.
