Thunderbird Club

Don't blame you. Sounds disgusting to me.
I'm not a fan of peanut butter flavored things to being with (but like peanut butter). But to add that flavor to something that needs nothing added (including, but not limited to water), is heresy in my worthless opinion. Nor would I like Bourbon flavored coffee or ice cream, etc, etc. But I get people like what they like and I'm glad they enjoy it as long as I'm not forced to enjoy it. Heck, I like Limburger Cheese, so I do partake of weird items on occasion. Limburger flavored Bourbon would also be off limits. For me, anyway.
You have not lived until you’ve had these.

I'm sure those modelers are great, but if I'm at a gig, last thing I want to do is start going through menus to try and fix or adjust stuff. I'm sure it's mostly set and forget, but having the physical pedals there just to be able to quickly tweak means a lot to me.
My SA Manta bass filter is digital and you can select patches with a midi controller pedal, but there are also knobs on the pedal itself.
The other thing that's cool is you can assign an expression pedal to control any parameter.

I kinda prefer the '57, but I wouldn't refuse that one-as a gift.

That's still a two seat Thunderbird. After '58, they aren't what they should be any more. Imagine what Ford could be building if they had continued to compete with Chevy like they did in the '50s. A modern Thunderbird would be like a modern Corvette. Ford blew it.

hmmmm...Ford went a step further imho...the Shelby Cobra back then, the Ford GT (40) today...

The production team selects the winner per an interview they did with the producer on NPR the Sunday before last. I’d think Boilen gets a substantial say. It’s all about YouTube and streaming hits at the end of the day.

So are you saying that NPR Tiny Desk posts all entries on Youtube and whichever song gets the most views is chosen as the 'winner'? If that's true, then yes - I would be very happy to have everyone here 'view' it as many times as possible! :D

Here's what the TD page sez' -

Stay Tuned For The Winner And Tour!
We’re watching every single entry right now and will announce the winner here soon!

The winner will play a Tiny Desk concert at NPR in Washington, D.C., be interviewed on NPR's All Things Considered and go on tour with NPR Music.

In about 1982, I saw him with King Crimson in NYC. Tony Levin was playing a stick. It was not a huge place which made it even better.

Yah, I saw him years ago at Bimbo's in North Beach. The Robert Fripp something or other.

You and me both.

Nope. Sorry. I’m saying they pick the one they think will be most popular with their audience, whatever that is, and generate the most views.
