So NOT watching that!

[hides under bed with the cats]

There has been many "creepy doll" type (B) movies and TV shows over the years, but this was one of the first if not the first and still creepy. (who loves ya baby?) :)

My grandparents kept some marionettes hanging on their strings in the garage attic when I was very young. The only weird thing about them to me was that they were from a generation before me- the creepy aspect they did take on was just part of their nature... that frozen expression on their faces, the limited articulation making them freakish in their unfinished, hollow versions of humanity. Almost (maybe definitely) evil in their cold mockery of human emotions and mannerisms...
But mostly they represented another time and way of being, which as a very young kid was almost incomprehensible.
And I was kind of alright with dark, creepy, ghosty stuff anyway. It was just part of the house.

Now that would be something to see, and with all due respect Kat.

A cat lover here.
I would not want to freak them out at all.

Under the bed is really the only place they are not easily reached by human hands and in reality we would never do anything to compromise the security of their best hiding place (there are too many cat toys under there anyway).

And possibly a few dust bunnies... :)

Ohhh, I so can relate.

I give these creatures more respect then I do to us humans......

And I don't disrespect us humans unless we disrespect all living creatures.

Cheeky bugger! No dust bunnies - there's a magic device we have over here called a vacuum cleaner.

As having owned cats in earlier chapter of my life - there's nothing more dreaded to them than a vacuum cleaner! :D
