If Epi just manufactured a neck through platform they could glue any body shape they wanted as the wings and actually have a better product with the different body styles we love. Shimming necks at weird angles seems like more work. What am I missing here? Obviously not hollow bodies…well maybe center block hollow bodies. Says the guy who can’t file a brass nut! Lol
I was gonna suggest you mention that to @godofthunder59 but apparently they don't listen to him either.:banghead:

pics or it didn't happen...
Hmmm, has anyone seen a picture of his better half? Are we dealing with one of his imaginary friends?

You mean if I cut too deep? I'll use the file a little bit at a time and try it until it feels better.
I saw online about using an automotive feeler gauge to use as a height stop for the file. Sound familiar to anyone here? I'm having 2nd thoughts on buying that brass nut!
Ahhh...maybe I should just take to a luthier!

I do this on all my basses related to the nut; I depress the 3rd fret and file each slot so that the string barely touches the 1st fret. I use a post-a-note leaf to test it - it should lightly grab when sliding it under the 1st fret. When filing - 2 rules; be patient and don't over-file. Better to keep going back & forth a little at a time until it's spot-on.

I appreciate the info!

I’m still on an 8. Everyone else in the family gets the latest and greatest. Not me. But the battery is to that point where it doesn’t hold a charge. So I hope to upgrade this year.
I had the battery replaced on my iPhone 6 a few years ago. I only got the 14 because I could expense it - had it for over a year now and I still hate the fact that they removed the home button.

Likely the same factory in Japan as the rest. That's the same bridge cover as my National and Kawai. 2 saddle bridge?

Fujigen Gakki - one of 41 brands under their roof. Neither National or Kawai are on that list. National was Sakai Mokko Co Ltd., and Kawai is the mother company with 50 brands.
