That is a really good deal, especially if there is no sales tax or shipping involved. They ended production of them around the Pandemic. Nice used ones are highly sought after, especially white ones. I think everyone here who has one loves them. Very much like a Gibson except they have a Poly finish and a little difference in the shape of the bottom wing that barely noticeable.

Speaking of which, I’ve been “requested” to fix the dryer today. I need to replace the timer switch. I have the part. I’m only lacking the motivation.
I think they’re great basses for the dollar.

I lucked out and got mine used but in mint condition for 150.
But that was also back in 2017.
I was happy in 2021 to find a white one in near flawless condition with a triangular case for $400. Better investment than the stock market…or are we running the bass Ponzi racket?

It’s rosewood, no ebony on the CP’s if I’m not mistaken.

Don’t mention the Gibson sticker. There are those here that will harass you to remove it. I didn’t and have been ostracized. Or was that called an ostrich? The trauma was too great to recall. I had to pay a penance when I got my first VP by publicly removing the stickers from the top of the 760s.
