Thunderbird Club

At least that should be an easy fix!
It took longer to clean under and behind the dryer than to replace the switch. Since I had it pulled out, half the laundry room got cleaned. I was thinking how this is still simple enough even I can do it. Now I need to clean under and behind the washer. Maybe in a few weeks. I like to pace myself.

Thanks. This wonderful bass got used this Easter. Currently has SIT Nickel Foundations on it. Crazy good tone. I prefer old StringJoy strings that were round core, but the SITs are pretty close. Definitely right up there close to the '64 Thunderbird.

Well crap when it rains it pours…

TV died…. Samsung for the second time ($400 warranty repair first time) not paying $400 to fix it again, and not buying a Samsung.

replacing it with a $500 Hisense? From Wally World… Hope it lasts. Gonna pick it up in a couple hours.

been driving the corvette daily for about 10 days now?

battery crapped out suddenly, no warning, but no clue how old it actually is…. And sudden crap out is normal for our climate.

got it on the charger and see if she’ll get me to the auto parts store. I’ll let them switch it out

Sony still makes the best. You have to shoot them to kill them. I almost cried when I finally hauled all the old Sony cathodes to the electronics recycling. Time just passed them by.

Yeah TV's are throw away electronics now. The picture is pretty amazing on new TV's. The LED technology is crazy good!

Oh man! I used to take the old battery out and drive it to battery store and get it tested and usually had to buy a new one anyway and drive back home and put it back in. Now I let Autozone do the swap.
I watch to make sure they do it right but those kids are young and strong!

Happy Easter and hope your day gets better!
Heck. I agree that Autozone pretty much has their act together. But I have AAA come to me. Price is close to Costco and the like, and all it takes is a phone call. They arrive in thirty minutes, test and install a new one if needed (they pretty much have one of everything on the truck). I don’t think I’ve messed with doing it myself this century.

And a very happy Easter to you my friend.

So, I was downstairs Dremeling to fit the surrounds to my DeColas when the redhead who lives at my house who was upstairs watching a how to kill your husband (Lifetime) show. She came downstairs to check on my progress and I told her I was almost done, telling her I was going to paint them flat or gloss black. She said leave them shiny (chrome). Thoughts?

I didn’t expect this but I agree - leave them shiny. Very cool, unique look.

So the a/c unit (the outside section) shed all the blades on its fan yesterday. I assume the Aussie sun degraded the plastic over time.
it is old enough that I am concerned that they won’t have the part now. I don’t want to be buying a whole new unit.
It’s only a year or so ago that we replaced the in roof motor. That was exxy enough.

That doesn't seem like nearly enough basses for Dusty's collection.
I have this one, it was played on stage for one song and after the show custom pin striped by the Reverend Billy and signed by the band at a the XXX tour concert in San Francisco back in the late 1990’s…

…still looking for a Dusty bass to go with it.
