My friend Reid did a fine-sand etch process on a couple surfaces for me years ago, one on this neck-plate - an early pic of my Saundersbird, at that time the 8th bass I owned (designated ala Pete Townsend) many years ago. The '8' is long gone and there has been further mods.

Yes, we use Paschal as in “Paschal Candle” “Paschal Sacrifice” which I would think comes from the same Latin or Greek root.

So the a/c unit (the outside section) shed all the blades on its fan yesterday. I assume the Aussie sun degraded the plastic over time.
it is old enough that I am concerned that they won’t have the part now. I don’t want to be buying a whole new unit.
It’s only a year or so ago that we replaced the in roof motor. That was exxy enough.

Plastic??? That was an evil design choice. Sorry. But I’d expect there to be an easy to sub part.

She came downstairs to check on my progress and I told her I was almost done, telling her I was going to paint them flat or gloss black. She said leave them shiny (chrome). Thoughts?
