I like the paint but the fretboard on that bass is what makes me wary about ordering anything with laurel. That fretboard look terrible to me.

at this point I have several laurel boards, just oil tames them down, OR in extreme cases Kiwi leather dye......

If that’s a repair, it’s horrible. I wouldn’t pay more than 150 with it looking like that. But it is repairable and given where it is, matching shouldn’t be that tough. I know Geo could probably do a nice repair that would end up being not all that noticeable.

It is a strange way to repair - I'm guessing but it appears there was a dent(?) and they used a forstner-bit to drill a round cavity and plugged it with a disc of mahogany???
