Thunderbird Club

I already gots my red one, would have preferred the gold but happy with the wear on mine, the dings on that one bug me a little. But honest wear is calming.

That gold was says it thinks yer hot.

Love my EB13!
In single coil mode, it’s the most Fender sounding and looking Gibson I own.
Likewise, I love my Fender Telecaster Modern Player, it’s the most Gibson sounding Fender I own. Which is why I am nearing the completion of my ThunderCaster, a NR Tbird made with all Fender components.

Your NR Thundercaster is very nice looking!

I am not a Ford guy in the slightest. Grew up with bowties my whole life. This is my first Ford. I traded in a 15 GMC pickup and I got a loaded 16 w/ 25k miles certified pre-owned w/ 75k powertain warranty for $8k less than a base model 15 Chevy with 48k miles when I bought it. Couldn't argue with the numbers.

I've made it to 160 and my biggest issue has been a two cylinder misfire caused by the spark plugs being gapped too far. Every plug was 8-15 thousandths off when I pulled them.
Ecoboost? They can tend to eat plugs and wear them down quicker. I changed all mine in both the ('19 Lariat at 101k and '18 Expedition at 83k). I don't buy new vehicles due to instant depreciation*, so both were used and am unsure about plug changes on either. They were still acceptable, but it's easy and inexpensive and you know what you have.

*That may no longer always be the case depending on what is bought, and given these days used prices are also getting crazy high. It's a preference and trade off thing.

Yes sir, about due for another set of 6 on it as I'm typing this.

I had ordered Gorgomyte polishing cloths back in February but never heard from the seller. No order confirmation, no shipping info, nothing. So At the end of March I filed a claim with PayPal for a refund. 3 day later I received an email from Susan at Gorgomyte apologizing that I hadn't received the product and she would ship my order the next day. I explained that I had just received my refund so not to ship the cloths. I never heard from her again so kind of forgot about it. I checked the mail today and was surprised to find a package from JJ Gorgomte. So I guess they are still in business, but you have to wait a month or so to find out if you are getting your order. I haven't opened the bags yet, but you can smell the product thru the zip lock bag.

Good to know they are still around. Albeit slow.

Love the pink finish! Looks fantastic.

A friend in HS got to drive his mother's 442 a good bit. He drove it carefully and sedately. Most of the time. Every once in a while he'd punch it and my bellybutton would kiss my spine.
With a Bocephus sticker on his 442 he'd light em up just for fun...

Saw the SESSANTA tour couple nights ago; Pusifer, Primus, A Perfect Circle. It was Maynard Keenan's 60th birthday party; dude went on tour to celebrate his birthday. It was pretty awesome, with band members guesting on other band member songs...like Maynard with Primus doing Tommy the Cat. Pretty not bad!
