I had that TU-2 for quite some time but had never used it before. Unlike most tuners and the ones built into my TC Electronic amp head and my IK Multimedia AXE I/O interface, the flat and sharp symbols don't appear in the readout.

I prefer a straight forward and clear readout as opposed to a bunch of colors, bells, and whistles when it comes to tuners, and the Peterson is very intuitive and easy to read.

I don't recall if we've talked about 54-40. Took a dive down a rabbit hole. They're doing a Canadian tour starting this month. I wish I could go.

They have been on tour regularly for the last few years. If I recall correctly, I have seen them 3-4 times since 2020 and passed up some opportunities to see them as I had seen them so many times. When I saw them at the Horseshoe (winter time I think) I did some quick and dirty math and calculated that the band probably netted $2-4K for the night.

Actually doubt Scott would be interested, and it may not be perfect enough for Mr. Lee, and understandably so. But if I had a bunch of bass money to spend, I would have considered it.

Thunderbird to the rescue and wound up buying one of these as well-

After spending quite some time trying to figure why my Flying V didn't sound right when touching up my previous tuning to drop D with my Boss TU-2 (didn't notice at first the little LED to the bottom right indicating D sharp). So I got my Thunderbird with its Hipshot Xyender set for D and compared the notes. It turned that all the strings on the guitar were sharp except for the B and first E string.

So this was at a friend's studio where my previous tunings were with his Petersen Strobo Stomps. So I decided to get one of my osn, even though I finally figured out what was going on with the TU-2.

I however really like my NS-2 Noise Suppressor which really keeps things quiet-

Just as an aside- some of those chords I was playing with the wrong tuning sounding pretty cool- but alas I can't remember them!

Hmmm. I don't see the need for a fancy tuner. Put strings on, and tune. Then never tune again until you change strings. And since strings last effectively forever, np need to tune again!
