That's II cool
Be careful, you’re getting close to stepping on my trademarkThat's II cool
It's crazy how that works out because the different electronics/basses/etc all sound different with the same player. But then the same bass sounds different with different players. Almost one of those synergistic relationships corporate America loves to talk about where all pieces come together in such a way to produce something greater than their individual values. No, not the same thing, all that extra wiring etc. does something to the tone, which is somehow in your fingers.
Every week I have this temptation unashamedly paraded I front of me.....
Hi guys, on one side TB can be played normally on a belly/ area, but i would like to get it even more down - Twiggy Ramirez/Tatsu style, so I could strum in the area of the neckjoint or before the neck pup... Considering i am 196cm tall guy, even 67"170cm strap is not enough. Anyone knows about something longer? I guess the ballpark of 70-73" kinda? Or the best way is to get custom or get something like Perris Leathers and get somewhere else custom adjustable part? Anyone delt with similar idea?![]()

Almost 2 meters tall? You are a person who needs a long strap for sure. I play with a long strap. I think it's pretty common for Thunderbird players to sling them pretty low, relative. As far as where to get one long enough for a person as tall as you are, I don't know for sure. I spent a fair amount of time looking for extra long straps and ended up with Levy's and using it extended as far as it will go. I'm nowhere near as tall as you are.Hi guys, on one side TB can be played normally on a belly/ area, but i would like to get it even more down - Twiggy Ramirez/Tatsu style, so I could strum in the area of the neckjoint or before the neck pup... Found it. Looks like 70" is what he used. Might ask him where he got it made.Hi guys, on one side TB can be played normally on a belly/ area, but i would like to get it even more down - Twiggy Ramirez/Tatsu style, so I could strum in the area of the neckjoint or before the neck pup... If you haven’t tried one of the Dingwall DBirds or DRocs you’re missing a lot. Really unique and very useable sounds, beautifully built basses at a relatively reasonable price. Love mine.
