Yep.I'd get the Bicentennial and save a couple grand.
Very sharp looking. Too bad the bridge was swapped out. Looks like inserts are still there, so it could be reverted, but the Badass screw holes may be visible.…did someone say @Chucky Stiletti needed a ‘76?

I can do my best to enable here as well…
Subtitle no country for old menTitle: Incontinental Divide.
Gives the buyer room to bargain. I have a Studio someone put a Badass on. While I’ve come to terms with it, I wish it had the Gibson Studio bridge instead.Very sharp looking. You going to the September show?I get grief for being a Neil fan. But I’m really excited about this release so I can’t resist telling about it.

In a heartbeat. No contest in my mind.I'd get the Bicentennial and save a couple grand.
Are you going to be able to see him anytime soon? I did see a local sign advertising him being here, as you mentioned some time back.I get grief for being a Neil fan. But I’m really excited about this release so I can’t resist telling about it.

Quadruple-tracked T-bird (or related) basses. Got the idea when I thought how thick a synthesizer sounds when you add more oscillators playing the same pitch.
Not that it's very usable in a song but then again, why not? If there's a part written for that sound etc.

Have mercy! I can't take it. I'm in love with those white BaCHs.Another New Bird Day!
Arrived last night expertly packed and shipped from @saltymonkey (best packing job I’ve ever seen by a long shot!).
Beautiful BaCH II +1 in stunning aged white. Looks like a Gen1 - tummy cut, no forearm contour, originally a single pup bird but nicely converted to a two pickup beauty with Chinabuckers, a bit heavier than my blue Gen2. It’ll be a spa day today - level frets, set up, restring, deep clean and fine tune.
Here she is…

And BaCH to BaCH with my soon to be upgraded (with Eppi or Gibby pups) blue bird…
View attachment 5450872
Right now they sound very different (due to different pups, wiring and strings) but once I drop the new pups in the BlueBird I’ll see how it compares to the ChinaBucker BaCH. I might eventually string one up with flats and the other with rounds, but for now I’ll put the same strings on both to see just how close the pup difference is.
No fear! I'm going to assemble the bass first to see if it's solid. It may need reinforcement. Worst case scenario is a new headstock. These are things I have done before. That repair looks scary.
It's only a matter of time before a 'Bird claims you. It's pretty obvious you are already nuts enough to fit right in.

Hopefully. The Hollywood Bowl is my favorite venue in the world. The Greek is second. You going to the September show?
