Another New Bird Day!
Arrived last night expertly packed and shipped from @saltymonkey (best packing job I’ve ever seen by a long shot!).
Beautiful BaCH II +1 in stunning aged white. Looks like a Gen1 - tummy cut, no forearm contour, originally a single pup bird but nicely converted to a two pickup beauty with Chinabuckers, a bit heavier than my blue Gen2. It’ll be a spa day today - level frets, set up, restring, deep clean and fine tune.
Here she is…

And BaCH to BaCH with my soon to be upgraded (with Eppi or Gibby pups) blue bird…
IMG_3061.jpeg

Right now they sound very different (due to different pups, wiring and strings) but once I drop the new pups in the BlueBird I’ll see how it compares to the ChinaBucker BaCH. I might eventually string one up with flats and the other with rounds, but for now I’ll put the same strings on both to see just how close the pup difference is.

Quadruple-tracked T-bird (or related) basses. Got the idea when I thought how thick a synthesizer sounds when you add more oscillators playing the same pitch.
Not that it's very usable in a song but then again, why not? If there's a part written for that sound etc.

What's the signal chain there? Love all the clips you post, tone is so meaty and articulate. It was your demos that sold me on the Suncoast HD-1, which I now have as an always on. Kinda want to get another, and frankenstein them into a single case so I can use a single footswitch to flip between the Boost and OD.

Oh, @Chucky Stiletti what's the story on the Blue bird? I missed that, happened to send the post M&M Guitar bar posted on IG to my brother this morning! If you ever feel that white Bach is weighing you down, I might know someone interested in adopting it ;)

Have mercy! I can't take it. I'm in love with those white BaCHs.
