Thunderbird Club

I m doing fire clearing this weekend. But I hope I remember to PM you re this. If anyone else would be interested in further discussion, we can do a private conversation about this. I’ve been an attorney in the industry since 1986 and would be happy to answer questions.
Our insurance is pretty easygoing here. Going up, but nothing super alarming and coverage options are available. It's not needed by me, but I would like to say thank you nonetheless. It's very kind (and very characteristic of you) to offer your decades of insight.

Much love for my two V4-BH Classic heads. I use one twice a week. (One is actually the older Blue line V-4B, which is in my office at hime.) When I heard my first BH I was in love. "That" was the sound I was chasing.

I’m looking forward to getting to using the BH with the beefed up V2 head.

I’m curious as to how good the BH would sound on its own with the 610HLF. I think the AV version that I have was originally sold with an SVT610AV(HLF) cab, as a unit.

At some point if/when I’m done with the biamping fun with the BH and V2 and two cabs I mentioned earlier, I’ll probably just run the BH with a 610HLF.

Fire season has started in NorCal. Farm just got an evac notice. Large beasts in trailer and dogs in my truck. Let the fun begin. Cal Fire gets a little jumpy as you never know what the wind will do in the Central Valley.

Hopefully it is nothing more than, what I’m sure is, a major inconvenience.

Received notice of non renewal on my auto insurance policy. Excellent driving record. Had to jump through hoops to reinstate the policy. Then four months later received a notice of non renewal on my home owners/fire/earthquake/umbrella policies, never had a claim in the 10 years living here, again jumping through hoops to hopefully get them reinstated using California Fair plan for fire coverage. My insurance agent has informed me the policy costs will probably double, rivaling my mortgage payment. Seems like insurers would prefer not to write policies in CA right now. Add to that a bit of talk at the State level of implementing an exit tax on net wealth next year and it looks like I’m outta here if possible this calendar year. Shame, because CA really is a beautiful state, but I figure I can visit it as often as I want and not have to deal with the financial antics that have become the norm here.
Wow hate to hear that! Sounds like a nice place to visit…good luck!

Dogs say hi.

FYI on the fire. The northern front is about 1 mile from the farm; however, it has been 1 mile since about 7pm PDT. So, looks like the wind is blowing north. Fortunately, it is just grass land so no big fuel sources. The fire started at Lawrence Livermore National Labs. Must have been one of those laser weapons again :wideyed:

I have a Zoom device that supposedly does that. Not even close. For true Ampeg tone you need/should really have a suitable Ampeg head going through a sealed cab.
This thing is at least 30 years old, maybe more. It works remarkably well. I hook it up once or twice a year.
One of the cab settings is for an 18 and a 12.:wideyed:
