Thank you. It really does. It's an amazing color in person.
I have used this color for a Stratocaster that I made as a Christmas present for my nephew and a BC Rich bass that I sold.
The color difference between a ‘75 LPB jazz bass and what I used on the VP is clearly visible.
I like the VP shade much better.

Couple of minor issues with the new Vintage Pro. First of which were two high frets that caused some buzzing when doing a setup. No big deal there. They are already filed, crowned, and polished. The second issue is the inserts for the bridge. One is sunk slightly below the surface while the other is slightly proud. What say the hive? Leave it or sink the proud one level?

I would see if it would go down a little, but wouldn't push the issue too much. Unlikely, but the hole may not be deep enough. More likely the insert was not inserted all the way. It backing out is in the realm of possibility, but there might be indications of that in the finish around the hole. If nothing else, just keep an eye on it. If it really bothers you, you could have a talk with the store. I'm sorry, but don't recall where you got it.

The 3 point bridge is more susceptible to lifting the threaded insert (not on this bass) then the 2 point you have. If your concern is the insert lifting it can’t because the strings are actually pushing down on them so no worries. I wouldn’t try setting the insert flush myself. If you damage the finish you will wish you let it go. If it really bothers you I agree with others here that said call the store and see what they say.

Shoot, I wouldn't have blamed you for staying there. That's bootyful.

You are right, extremely beautiful, but the sxs riding was not ideal, way too much dust, and no real technical riding. In fact on the third day we didn't even do a ride, and just went hiking in the Brce Canyon National Park.
