I'm no computer wiz by any means, but I'm not sure why you would be experiencing this and none of us are. I know things need to play nice on both ends as they hand off packets, but it's odd that you are running into something that seems to be so isolated. (Seems being an important word.)

Had a little intermittent scratchy sound in the Ashdown RM-300 evo so I took the cover off and air canned and shot some Deoxit in a few places, and made sure all the plugin connections were pushed in good. So far so good.

For those who like looking at guts and know what you're looking at. All I know about all that stuff is that the sound from the bass goes in, rattles around in all those bits and pieces and gets loud and shoots out the make sound cord hole.

It's crazy how light a 300w or more amp can be these days.

You’re braver than I am. I do not spray Deoxit unless I am positive I know what will happen. I’ve had a bad experience with that stuff. A little goes a long way. Too much and you can really gooch things.

I have used it a few times and not had any problems. So far, anyway. I just try to get it where it needs it or would help and give it a shot. I don't soak anything with it.

I’ve learned my lesson. If you do the spraying, I’ll trust it and you. But I’m done with it. This humanities major has no business trying to “fix” things myself.

Yep. And if you lived here, I ‘d be all over you to file a wildlife incident report with Fish & Game.

I’m having a bit of a scorpion issue up here on the mountain. Bears, coyotes , rattlesnakes, and scorpions. We have a ton of bats too. I guess bats don’t like scorpions. It’s almost like Australia this summer.
