Thunderbird Club

You all inspired me with that simple, yet moving bassline in Stand by Me. So, gave the B-15 and Jack Cassidy a run. First audio is with the Electar pickup and the second is both Dark Stars. I think those are the right combination for this song.

Nice job Dave!
The first one is more pronounced.
The second one seems to sit back a little more.

Here's some glamor shots. My new favorite bass, I'm absolutely in love with this thing.

Sure! Karmann is the shop that built Karmann Ghias and the Beetle convertibles. Ghia was the (Italian)design house.
Mine is modified: no door handles or side moldings, suicide doors, front turn signals under the bumpers, early mirrors, dropped spindles, narrowed front beam, polished Porsche 2L alloys.

Great! Thanks Irv. Beautiful!

exactly - there is no shortage of choices in the 'free world'...

Awful quality... but I saw this on SNL that night in 1989 and was blown away by the raw passion of their performance.

Sorry for the late reply Geo. Still doing bear cleanup. You know my feelings about all things Neil. He’s great solo. With the Horse, he’s one of my top fives.

Just because.
