Thunderbird Club

Since I find 7ender necks uncomfortable/painful, has anyone built a 7ender body/TBird neck? (And why?)
The '60s MIJ Teisco Del Rey body design was riffing off of the late '50s Fender Jazzmaster and early '60s Jaguar. My Teiscobird is made from a mid-'60s Del Rey mahogany body married to an Epi Goth T-bird maple neck. In fact, it came out so good (my TSC bass) I made another one just to see if I could make two that good (which I did) and later sold it. Why build a Fender body/TBird neck? I don't entertain silly biases, that's why.

Since we haven't had FOH any time after Summer 2015, I gots to supply as much "Original Surround Sound"(TM @dagrev) as possible directly outta my amp. Prolly a helluva lot bassy-er than most of y'all prefer to put forth-or fifth. But that 60s thump-with a bit of added mids-is what I like to emulate. I don't wanna sound like a gee-tar down an octave.
JMNSHO.
Sounds like a good thing to me. There's only one bass and a whole lot of everything else.
