I'll gladly take a number!!! The only thing keeping me from swapping things as well is that I typically use angled cables so I wonder it that would then get in the way of the tone knob.

Welcome GodsLove66, Congratulations on your new Non Reverse! These are really one of Gibson's better basses, very solid and the pickups have great tone! I did the jack/tone knob switch without having to rewire as I recall. There was just enough wire length to allow the change of positions.

Yep, Squire played one at times. Few even realize that. He actually played a variety of basses from time to time.

I like it! But not for $2700 and not even having a matching headstock.

EDIT: I just noticed it weighs 7.65 pounds. That is very light for a modern NR. Most weigh about a pound or so more.

He sure did!!! Here’s my current “Squire” collection. Got the T-Bird, a 70s Jazz (albeit Squier), a Red Tobias (albeit 8 string instead 5), and naturally a Rickenbacker (albeit Jetglo).
