Sure looks like it. Except it specifies DC.

I am officially in the Tbird Grandfather Club as of a week ago. Meet my granddaughter Clementine Carolynne. I am already planning a Tbird build for her so she grows up knowing the correct style of bass to play. Might be a couple of years before she is big enough to actually play it.

Grandbaby Congrats Andy! I hope everyone is doing well.

This sounds like my Epi VP. I actually think it makes a nice P-bass-with-flats tone, but a bit too mid-focussed with rounds. I may upgrade it anytime and unleash it by using Roto 66 rounds. Then I need to find a new P bass to put flats on...
You don’t need to spend a fortune to get there. For example, I have a perfectly nice ‘13 MIM that they simply called the Precision Standard. I was going to but never found the need to “upgrade the pickups. run it with a set of now eight year old Chromes. It’s LPB, of course. It sounds close to this:

Recent Peter Frampton concert. Bass solo at 1:59 and some change. Really nice. Not flashy, but funky and groovy. Didn't look up who she was. (Nice Ashdown she had.) Sad that he's getting in poor health and can't stand. Still puts on a better concert than many who can still prance and dance. (Side note: His instrumental work is fantastic.)

Our airport is currently my least favorite place to be. It's going to be a whole lot better if they ever get done with the endless construction projects. Every time I think they can't screw it up any more, they do.
Baggage claim was like a cattle chute when we were there for the gtg.

OMG Andy! I’m so happy for you and your family!

I just ran across this, thought I'd share in light of some of the conversations that have gone down here about this company.

It’s been discussed in several threads. Andy Fields, the current designer of the bass division, ain’t talking. For obvious reasons. It isn’t clear if Randall was fired, formally retired, or his contract that he entered into at the time of the sale expired and they just couldn’t come to terms. He’s a legend. He grew a garage business into one of the most recognized names in the industry. I’m a huge Mesa fanboy. And will continue to be one. The Subway line is phenomenal. At least IMO. And the predecessor 400’s, M-Pulses, Prodigy, Walkabouts, and Carbines pushed the envelope of bass amplification. He was hands on, on both the guitar and bass sides. Mesa will be fine. And continue the legacy.
