Great strings! I would like to try a set on another bass, but those suckers ain't cheap!
I don't mind spending the money.
Most likely to get another set as well.
Got the Dunlop SS String Labs on my J right now.
Doing a pick up swap this weekend.
So before i change the Dunlops, i wanna hear what they'll sound like with the new pick ups.

I am looking for GE 44 (BA9S socket) color changing LEDs, but can't find any. These are also known as pinball lights (6.3v). It may be that they are too small to have that many LEDs for all the colors.
You can do it!

I bought a set last year. I'm not sure what to put them on!
I would say they are slightly softer sounding than the DTFs, if that helps any. They toned down some of the typical Pbass mids and just made it fatter sounding, yet not boomy, dull or indistinct. That's at least what I noticed. I think I initially tried them on something else, but don't recall what.

Thanks I like the way DTFs can bark when I dig in up high, but I have those on my black Casady and it can do the Pbass/flats thing. Maybe I'll try the low tension flats on one of my Fender shaped objects.

The LTF's are slightly brighter then the DTF's.
Which is why i prefer them, great feel to them too.

That's interesting hearing your take on them Jeff. I haven't thought of them as brighter. But I have never had both sets on the same bass that I recall. I'll have to pay more attention.
They do feel great. The best feeling flat I've ever recall played. Make glass feel rough!

Granted, it's been a while since i last used them.
But one thing that still works properly in this body of mine is my useless brain and memory. :roflmao:
