It doesn't look all that big, lots of work for only a little flesh. We have Dungeness Crab which are about 7- 10" across the shell. tasty flesh too. I still like Alaska King best though.

Yes, that was a pretty small. They don't get huge, but generally bigger than that. Mostly I see them on the plate....

Our Blue Swimmer crabs are not blue when cooked. They turn that normal reddish colour when boiled. The shells anyway, the flesh stays white.

Mud crab. There are places here that sell “Singapore Chili Crab” using mud crabs, I recommend.

Best known are Harry’s Singapore Chili Crab Restaurant in the city and Kingsley’s Steak & Crab Restaurant on Woolloomooloo Wharf (very near the City).

I prefer the pepper crab recipe….

Yes, they are helpful. We had one for a couple of years that lived around the front porch, but didn't see him this year. I hope he/she comes back.

Here's the most of the ACL show. They played there the last two Fridays in a row. I haven't watched this one yet. Saving it for the TV and good sound system. Likely will be a Thunderbird on the first song and one or two more. I don't know if Willie's part made the cut or not. They headed off to the UK this weekend for couple weeks. Sold out all the shows there 6 months ago.

I give Tina credit for that dubious stage-move. It looks fun & gutsy to move in that goofy manor in front of an audience. Hell of a bass player!
