BBQI’d be happy to host but most folk don’t want to be in central Texas in the summer.

My phone just makes these shorts and adds some music.
I can, in my head, hear everybody's voice and it's very pleasant memories - thanks guys, love you all.
Same here. Also noticed in the Amazon feedback that there seems to be some cases of the A string being 3” too short with the silks running over the nut and down past the 2nd fret. That’s a NoGo for me (and any other player).I just looked those up. Are there heavier gauges? I'm only seeing 40-95. My CroMagnon hands like thicker strings.
I actually had to look at the calendar, I thought I lost a day. V isn’t usually the prankster. You using Willy's calendar?

The head scratcher on this one is that they are selling them for significantly less than Chinabuckers, which is what I would have assumed a fake knock off would have been utilizing. The tech world is rife with examples of Chinese fakes. Epi doesn’t typically sell their pickups. None of that means these are fake; it’s just an area I’d do extra sleuthing in.

unless you go to Laguna, Ms have no place here ymmv...I dig the sushi tray mounted to the back of the BMW. Probably handy for tailgate parties.

No issues with the aforementioned complaint on Amazon.Same here. Also noticed in the Amazon feedback that there seems to be some cases of the A string being 3” too short with the silks running over the nut and down past the 2nd fret. That’s a NoGo for me (and any other player).
The price looks good though, so I might take a chance on a set to see what it’s all about. If they are truly better than cobalts they should be outstanding.
That's east Texas. It's brutal. West Texas is is brutally dry.Pretty much any season in Texas![]()
Humidity kills!
Really need to block the calendar soon. Not yet, but stay tuned - I think the Green Subie is returning to California![]()
The only way I’ll ever go to Texas again is to see you and Sharon and catch an Austin City Limits show.
Nice!All done for now:
Fender Nate Mendel P-Body
1999 MIJ Jazz Bass Neck
Lollar Thunderbird Pickup
Cheap Fender Blacktop Precision Pickguard
(Allows for use of Thunderbird Pickup w/ no routing the guard)
*the pickup ring covers the extra space and is held on by Shoo Goo

I bought strings off Amazon once. They came with a missing string. Yeah, they refunded me when I sent them back. But it was a hassle having to mess with it, go to the UPS store to drop them off, etc.Same here.
