Dave dates Travis Kelce?Unlike the rest of us, at least he has one thing in common with Taylor Swift.

Room with a currently different view... (~4in of snow on the way and lows in the teens. I'm done with Winter.)
A new personal favorite of mine. The unidentified flats that came with the NR seem to be Ernie Ball Group IVs. Feel nice off a bass. I'm going to have to try them on something. Seems they are considered a modern flat with a few more highs and mids than trd flats, but not as much a Chromes.
With all that work you're considering, and i cant really say how high the high side is.Got a rough price range on refinishing in PB, cleaning up the neck area, fixing the two holes, installing pickups and removing the nickle cans and replacing with the gold the came with the bass. Roughly $2-2.5k! That was with me mentioning I don't need it to be restored to a collectors piece. But they likely do things one way--perfect. I don't mind spending some money, but without correct pickups I would be on the verge of having more in it that it would be worth. I was expecting a good price, but not that much.

Thanks. Might be going back to my original plan of refinishing it myself for a small fraction of that and have a good player bass. Still might check with a body shop and me cleaning up the neck area and prepping it for them. It's been years since I refinished a bass. Never did a neck before. With all that work you're considering, and i cant really say how high the high side is.
The 2K range would seem about right.
If I were in your situation, this is the route I would choose. While a really cool bass, it is not worth sinking that kind of money into. I would say "take your time and try to enjoy the process." It is always fun to have something to work at. Also when its done, it will be "your" bass since you spent the time on it.Thanks. ^^^This Donnie. And if you are unsure, find another bass to practice on. There are often Epiphones with snapped headstocks on ebay.If I were in your situation, this is the route I would choose.
