No. Looks great to me. Vintage soldering wasn't always very tidy, just functional. From what I've seen and I'm no expert.

Well I had one. But after looking thought no telling how many pics I didn't find it. Would have been quicker to go get the bass and take the back off and take another pic. But not being deterred and searched here knowing I posted it.

This has probably been posted before but with 15,000+ posts I guess it can’t hurt to post again. This gig bag fits ny 2022 reverse like a glove. Decent padding on par with a similarly priced Gator bag and decent sized pockets.

That would work. Just something that will keep the silks-end and extra windings off the saddles... I really don't mind screwing into the body for a good reason. And that will definitely keep the ends away from the saddles...

Roger, you might be able to make one.
It’s a little piece of metal the width of the bridge with holes drilled through for the strings but not big enough for the string ends. It just fits snugly against the bridge when the strings are pulled through.

The Mod-Bar would work without screwing into the body and is supposed to fix the problem you mention. If you need it to be black, I found these pics somewhere a while back from someone that painted their Mod-Bar.

Look at Donnie’s photo. I think his pots are CTS (137). I can’t tell on mine given the solder. But a lot of similarities.

I did and admit some of the solder joints look just as scary. I’m thinking your volume pot’s been replaced. If you move the braid over that, can you read its stated value?

I’ll open it up again tomorrow. The braid is soldered pretty well to the can. Don’t know how much I can move.
