We use Fedex at my work. Results vary. I've had a 2 day delivery take 8 days from Vancouver to Calgary, but last week I got a box from NC in 3 days.
Their tracking is meaningless IMO.

I do this with a 105-50 set of EBCF’s on one of my P-basses for RSR, and that bass has good low action. The other basses I have set up for this tuning have 110-50 rounds, which works great, and I seem the think that a 105 flat is close to a 110 round (generally) in feel and tension.

I have used drop tuning since I began playing so it really doesn’t call for “mental gymnastics”, for me anyway.

However I never learned to play in any formal way, and I don’t know how to read charts, and “jamming in A minor” or whatever someone may call out, is sort of terrifying. I consider it a huge weakness as a player that I can’t just sit in a play songs with new people. I just have to take time, learn our songs as they are being written, or learn covers by tab and by ear, and, essentially play by memory. I have a handle on major, minor, and minor blues scales, so that helps, but… I really wish I could find a way to get over that hurdle but I don’t know how.

What really helped me was playing jazz standards from charts (lead sheets). I can hardly read notation, but the charts usually have chords on every measure. I would just play the root on the one and then walk to the next (chord) root on the one. After a while I would pick up/hear patterns like circles of 5ths and 4ths, and turn-arounds.
Often when I'm learning a new jazz chart, I'll just stay on the root for every beat until I get the idea of the song.
Now when I'm playing pop/rock/country, I can sometimes hear where things are going.
FWIW I find tabs difficult unless the tempo is really slow.

Take some lessons. Even the most advanced person should take lessons at least now and then. Anyone can pick up bad habits and will have no one to point them out.

I use tab to help me find the notes, especially with busy passages, and often, on the app I use, I make changes as the where I play the part(s) on the neck vs where it’s showing me to play it.

Yeah, I have a few times over the years, and I have yet to find someone I click with. I’d like a teacher that “gets” how my mind works and understands what I’m trying to achieve. The last guy I used was always stoned when I showed up and seemed to just talk “at” me. I also kinda need a lesson plan, with reachable goals, and the few people I’ve tried over the years didn’t seems to understand where I was at. I’ll also take some responsibility here, my discipline isn’t always great, and, literally “at the end of the day”, if it’s not a practice night, I usually won’t touch a bass. Mornings and weekends are when I play alone a lot.

When I use tabs, I tend to listen to the song to get an idea of what it should sound like, then work on the tab (slowly at first to make sure I get it right), repeating each line, verse, whatever until I can play it or something like it close to the recorded speed, then listen to each passage over and over, working on playing it. Eventually I get to the point I can do a decent job playing all te way through, put the song on repeat, and practice until I have it down - or until I don't care and forget about that song, at least for now.

Started plucking the feathers off the '66 NR to begin the process. Already moved the claw back to where it should have been originally. I'm on vacation this week so I'm hoping to make some progress. Get the electronics out, filling holes and hopefully some sanding. It's a shame the body is so shot up like Bonnie and Clyde. The wood is pretty would make for a nice translucent finish.
