I was thinking they Bondo filled them .The bolt on screws are under the plies, making it seem like a neck-through.
No, that can't be it either. GC descriptions are often worth reading just for the unintended humor.
Nope JK

The bolt-on maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard
Or the E1 TBThis must have jumped from a 7ender ad/description.
I prefer the blue. I’ve gone back and forth about getting one. I played George’s purple one and liked it well enough. There are reported QC issues with some. Shouldn’t be an issue buying through Zzounds; they have a good return policy and CS.
Use one on the back for a strap pin. Like the D-Bird / D-RocI'd think of making creative use of them.
Coasters!
I have a soft spot for Purple: and so does the wife, will ease the transaction.I prefer the blue. I’ve gone back and forth about getting one. I played George’s purple one and liked it well enough. His cousins deliver here. Best trick is they walk all the way to the door and leave a card saying they couldn’t deliver and we need to come and pick it up. We are home. They haven’t “ring and knock and tapped” otherwise we would have answered the door.Latest FedMess...
I chased the dude down the street and showed him the pic and asked, Does that look like the porch to you?
He said there was no place to turn around and asked why I parked at the end of the drive.
I said there are two vehicles in the garage, and that square piece of blacktop across from our drive is called a turnaround. He looked puzzled. I said across from our mail box. It's what people use to turn around. (He knew what I was talking about because he used it to turn around.) Wish I would have asked if he backed down the street since he didn't know there was a way to turnaround and how I choose to use my drive is not his concern. But when acting like he couldn't turn around I said UPS, Amazon and others don't have a problem. Then he said he always delivers to the drive. I said, not at my house. The directions are porch and everyone else does it. He said OK, and I told him I appreciate it. By the way, we have had rain off and on today....

Oh, I don’t know if you name your bases but if so are you going to call the 60s NR “Bonnie” ?Use one on the back for a strap pin. Like the D-Bird / D-Roc
Had a certified letter sent to my house the other day. I was home and all the carrier did was throw a tag in the mail box saying they would try to deliver the next day...it's been 4. I know what it is, so won't waste petrol trying to retrieve it.His cousins deliver here. Next day, pick up the parcel and notice it is marked “if not home please leave by the door”.
That Embassy is gorgeous.
I'd call it the 40B Deluxe. It had more holes than either Bonnie or Clyde.Oh, I don’t know if you name your bases but if so are you going to call the 60s NR “Bonnie” ?
Taunting or begging?
I do some, and I just might!Oh, I don’t know if you name your bases but if so are you going to call the 60s NR “Bonnie” ?
I doubt it will fit in the Epiphone case - different body shape. I did consider buying the Gator and sending it to the seller for postage but he checked the measurements and said it wouldn't fit.
When I first got the bass the tone was extremely dark, but with some new strings - and some unusual EQ - I'm very pleased. That said, I may still replace them at some point for something with a bit more inherent brightness and zing.
IME, GC won’t cut until it’s been on there awhile. If I were to buy used, it would have to be from a seller I trust, or one I can vette, either in person or by someone I trust. I know, I can ship it to the local and reject it, but the local GC is a joke. Employees there take an IQ test. If they test above 90, they don’t get the job.Make an offer! You'd have to pay tax on the new one, too...
