Guess I'll chase down jazz bass dims and see if they work. A Jazz is a 1.5" nut and 34" scale... but gotta sweat the bridge spacing.

lol hey! don't blame me, that batt sounded tired...good point you bring up though...how many here playing active basses live regularly wonder about where the batt/s' at prior to gigging....,seems like active basses should have a fuel gauge but how to do that?....unless upon battery replacement (with the PITA stipulation that for this method to work, the batt MUST be new) one starts a timer?.....temp and current monitoring?....the other item is how the bass would report....hidden LED meter? phone app?...,pretty hot item with IoT type applications today.....for active basses what would seem to make best sense is rechargeable batts....It was only moments later that I handed the bass over to Chuck, who played it so vigorously that the battery died.

The whole area around Grafenwöhr where our ex-SIL was stationed, the area around Darmstadt (Burg Frankenstein!), Frankfurt (lovely city). That’s mainly where we were, and we enjoyed it all.
The PLAYMOBIL Fun Park in Nuremberg is bomb, too.
Just avoid Frankfurt terminal Z.

I think a green and red LED on the battery compartment would be sufficient, If I used this bass more often it would cross my mind to keep the battery fresh. I haven't used it for a show since 12/7/24, in fact I haven't touched it since then, I need to work less!

Supposing I had one, I may. Have never owned or played one, I just know they have the same nut width.
But 7enders tend to 0.75 bridge spacing, where the 3-point Gibsons are 0.70. Changes the geom some.
In other news, the test route with my modded template turned out as good as I could hope. Perfect fit for my Nine One Sixes.

Not how it works? Input nut width (1.5” is 38mm) how far you want the string to be from the edge of the fretboard, on each side.
Assume 3mm, for example.
plug in the string count.
Add standard string gauges.
The result oddly says fret: ?
