Even if he didn't replace it, he should have said it very differently. I'd have replaced it.

My set has dark blue silk, so they are an earlier (good) set it seems. Bummer the new are different. Those I have are nice.

How are the new ones different from the old ones, other than the silk? I've never played the old ones.

But he's $30 ahead. Until you do the math..... Likely one of those "we're too big and important to fail" situations. They think they will always have the business they have had in the past. But competition means if someone produces a better product (and service), they could very well take your place at most, or eat some of your lunch at the least. May the best product/value win.

And a bad experience can spread like wildfire on the Internet. Plain stupid way to handle it.

Describes the set on my Warwick to a tee. Hopefully the Apex strings will be similar.

I don't have a guitar that nice down in the basement of blasphemy and bad ideas. Even if I did, it would look great, but sound awful based upon who is usually down there playing.

Did you let Jeff tune it up? He's the only acid based life form around here. That looks awful.

Drilling holes in Gibsons is one of those great joys of life once you get used to doing it.
