Really love me some flake, the more the merrier!

July 7 is last day. They asked for longer than two weeks so they can get their act together. I’ll get the 19th and 4th as paid holidays.

I’ll plan some visits while you’re still here.

Congratulations!

I’m terribly envious.

I hope I can do the same in (as soon as) 4 (hopefully) to (as much as) 7 years. But then again, lately, I’m beginning to wonder if I’ll be able to at all.

I just got to the the point where I wanted to throw up walking into the home office and turning on the computer. Life is too short. I mostly worked at some job or another since I was 16. I’m ‘67. No other male in my or my wife’s family ever worked as long.

Sounding good, Ray!

I can say the same but I started at 14. Aside from my teenage career as a petroleum transferring engineer, I have done electronic security and fire alarm systems all my life. I’m very good at it but really tired of it.

The only thing that makes it tolerable now is that I’m self employed, but that has its own, different kinds of stress, as opposed to having a boss and a time clock.

Hopefully I can sell my company/accounts for something that will make my retirement fund stretch long enough.

I suspect that will happen one day for me too. I hope I'm one who knows it's time and is confident and had no regrets. I don't know not working at this point. I started working as a young kid in Jr High working maintenance for two different guys who owned apartments. (In addition to mowing a number of yards and painting for people.) One guy's buildings were nice and the others were slums. As in we collected rent weekly (one at the front and the other at the rear for those who wanted to run), and sprayed for bugs about every two weeks. Next door to one was a a house where ladies provided "therapy" of some kind. One used an empty apartment in building once and I walked in. They ran out. I don't think he got his money's worth of therapy. Whatever that was. Might have had something to do with me yelling adult words at them.

All that rambling to say I will either die working or hit the wall one day and be done. Might be a good time to learn how to play bass.

That Husband of mine......................

Sweet! I hope you love it like I do mine. The longer I have it the more I like it. I'm beginning to get used to the EQ and I could maybe see it replacing my Ampeg tube head. Maybe. Your's looks like a 300, which is what I was looking for but never found at the time. Mine is 500 and I do not need that many watts. My output is barely on. They are warm sounding but can easily do bright very well, which is likely more to your liking. Very versatile head IMO.

My last job would get me stressed to the point of nausea. It is not worth it.
