Thunderbird Club

Warmoth used to offer a Tbird but had to stop making them. I have one and it is a nice quality body.

That was THREE pages ago ... even I'm having trouble keeping up.

Yeah, didn't like the active electronics but they're easy enough to remove. She's had new pickups, pots, knobs, tuners and bridge ... but she's still the same bass!

@Gaolee - Katbird arrived in Sydney this morning. No idea yet whether Customs are going to sting me before I'm allowed to have it.
I didn't like the electronics either. My Pro IV became the fretless with Alumitones and no preamp. Mine has a narrow but round neck, unlike the usual 7ender road kill flattened neck. It has a rounder neck than the Ric I had as well. That is pretty typical of Thunderbird necks, with the exception of my 2015 which has a bit of a glad spot in the middle of the back of the neck.
