Thunderbird Club

Will post pictures later after the neck , an Epi Chinese B/O arrives.(today)
@Ringhammer sent a blue sparkle Epi 64 husk to me, (Big Thank you! Richard)
He kept some parts: but I have those in stash.
The headstock was broken off, and we agreed to further violation : lopped the neck off near the body.
The headstock is intact (and will be used as a template for future projects)

Can’t wait to dig in.

Considering making it a three pickup “Trio Bird” with Epi ProBuckers 760s I have on hand

Comments welcome.
Well as is typical with FedEx, it arrived today will post pictures when I can.

Ford told Shelby he was going to war with Ferrari in this building in '65....

Betty the the Czech plywood Albatross is back, after a long absence. A little re-gluing, bridge adjustment and some Epoxy, and she's good as new. Getting back to practicing, and I'll hook er up with a pickup and the Hartke combo. There'll probably be some duo gigs with The Earthmen's singer for a couple little local places.
I like having er back. Fun instrument to play- even to play badly! 😁

Awful big case for a Thunderbird, but is ventilated.

Sweet! What pickup are you going with?

I have to start looking around. I've been to the DB forum and had some rec's for a Vic, I think?...
So far there's been only one recommendation for an expensive, must-have system, but for now I'll be using a SansAmp BDDI into my old Hartke Kickback 12.
