Thunderbird Club

I played rugby with a guy who dislocated his shoulder in a match. He ran off the field, jumped up and grabbed a chain link fence, and then dropped while holding onto the fence with that hand. The shoulder popped back in and he ran back onto the field and kept playing. He was completely sober at the time. It happened so fast that none of us reacted to it until later. It was a delayed *** moment.

The drinking to numb the future pain only worked for so long to be honest.

I consider the P the bass with a really bad attitude. Not for the way it sounds, but it's physical aggression. Its headstock won't point toward the ceiling without heroic efforts, and always sneaks back down to female singer back of head height. With bad results. Or good results depending on the singer. It takes out mic stands in a way nothing else ever does. If I didn't keep it chained up in the basement, it would sneak out at night, steal cigarettes, and beat up the neighbor's guitar. And, it takes on superficial damage all the time. I don't know where some of the scrapes and bumps came from, but they sure aren't the factory relic stuff. It looks like it accompanied a berzerker on a raid. And, I really do try to keep it out of trouble. Nothing else I own has the same kind of unruly personality as the P.
For legal purposes you might want to make sure its shots are up to date.

OH! Sounds like you got the Sid Vicious model!

I actually tried to find an equivalent to Sydney (distance from eq basically plus near coast) on google maps or something!(not scientific at all), sometime ago.
San Diego was it basically. I know nothing about any other factors of that town and environs though.
Is it in the 'fall off the map when the next big quake hits' zone?

San Fran is Sydneys 'sister city', maybe a little off. :)

Just for fun, not moving anytime soon.
That isn't how earthquakes work. In a subduction zone (where one plate slides under another one), it's the oceanic crust that is subducted.

San Diego is on the San Andreas Fault, which is a transform boundary (two plates sliding past each other), not a subduction zone, anyway.
