Uh-oh.BTW @JJR58, not sure that forking out for a supporting membership is helping in your quest to save for a Bird. Hmmm?

I always think of Sydney as a more tropical version of Seattle. Take the beach thing and hot weather from Southern California and graft it onto Seattle and you get Sydney, more or less.I actually tried to find an equivalent to Sydney (distance from eq basically plus near coast) on google maps or something!(not scientific at all), sometime ago.
San Diego was it basically. I know nothing about any other factors of that town and environs though.
Is it in the 'fall off the map when the next big quake hits' zone?
San Fran is Sydneys 'sister city', maybe a little off.
Just for fun, not moving anytime soon.
uh... ok.
Now I'm even more confused... but that's ok... just hurry up & get your new toy so we can all see!![]()
Guess so. I did have a bushy red beard at one point in my life.
If it's illegal in Texas and Alabama, I probably already did it. It's the stuff that's legal there and nowhere else that I want no part of.Viking Club - all initiation rituals are illegal in Texas and Alabama

Don't get me wrong, I was a Sonics basketball fan but THE Sonics (the band) are/were a far more important product of "the other" Washington!. . . I haven't missed the Sonics for a moment, besides we have the Seahawks and the Sounders.![]()
So, that makes you an invasive species. Got it.Not actually.
1. I'm not from 'round here.
2. There's an invisible line which runs down this country. On the eastern side, lies New South Wales (and the Australian Capital Territory) and Queensland. On the other side, there is the rest ... and really, we don't care what they get up to - that includes AFL.
Gonna use Absolute Power, gonna put him In The Line Of Fire and ask the punk if he feels lucky and then Im gonna use Magnum Force!.Gib'm hell PD!!!![]()

Monterey and Santa Cruz can get pretty... bleak, during the non-summer months. I went to school there.I liked Hawai'i for the couple of weeks I've spent there, The Monterey/Santa Cruz area appeals (not that I've been but I have seen Lost Boys) ... but on the nearside Vancouver and Victoria do it for me (I was there in mid summer).
I guess I just don't get it. It's just paint. Nothing mystical about it.To each their own. Just not my cup of tea.
It probably has something to do with growing up in a classic car family. Learned young that a car with original paint is worth a lot more than one that has been repainted. And not all refinished/repainted guitars/cars are done equally. Then there's also the technical side, if the previous layer was not stripped off it can affect the tone of the instrument.
I like shiny paint and I like worn paint, even matte paint, as long as it's original
And not factory "relic'd" paint
What?! 150 Shades of Gray?
Seattle is a very cool city, but so is Portland, OR and San Francisco - Vancouver, BC has to be one the most beautiful as well.
There's so much to do here that I haven't missed the Sonics for a moment, besides we have the Seahawks and the Sounders.![]()
San Francisco used to be cool. Now Oakland is quite a bit cooler. You sher do make it sound purdy!
*WHEW* THAT was harder than it shoulda been!Ah, ok, no doubt.
edit; but only here.
I don't go for that NBD, NAD, NPD stuff.
Yeah? I vote Cherry or Ebony, white would be my 3rd choice. What? No Cherry?!? That's unacceptable!
Were my opinion to matter to the good folks at Gibson/Epi... my choice in order of preference, would be clear gloss over mahogany, cherry, sunburst, white, black. As long as we're in fantasy land... let's put a telephone poll neck on it, and make a NR version too!Yeah? I vote Cherry or Ebony, white would be my 3rd choice.

*ug* Time for a nice long air conditioned car ride...Hottest day of the year and my air conditioning is messing up. Awesome.![]()
