In your stomping grounds a few weeks ago…
They are all $1500 or more recently. At least when I started looking. 5 string EBs cost more than 4 string EBs, although not all that much more expensive. I got my 4 string EB for $500, including shipping, tax, and everything else. That was dumb luck, since I haven't seen another that inexpensive since then. I thought about looking for a 5 off and on in the past, but never pulled the trigger. Now, I wish I had. 5s were going for about $800 five or six years ago. They are going for at least double that now from what I see.Really? The four string versions can be had for under 1K usually. I got mine for like $825 + shipping a year or so ago. The 5 goes for that much more?
Will you be having tea at the Empress?I’m on a little work trip. It’s a balmy 7c (44f) here just outside Victoria:

The take the meat from the tail which, before it's cooked, looks like white chicken meat-I tried fried alligator once in Louisiana. It did not taste like home fries.
That's just wrong. Dirty wrong. The high was 28 here.... And snow. Did I mention the snow?

Beautiful and quiet!
I'm pretty lucky my work takes me here a few times a year. It's been far too long since I've visited Vancouver Island, it's beautiful - I did stay at Sooke Harbor for a couple nights, it was lovely.
