Or even for better ones from Europe.looks awesome! I would replace those Chinese 12AX-7s for some cool NOS ones....

Nice score! Was that the one on Reverb? If so, I came close to buying it multiple times but ended up with a different Ashdown.AM (Amp Monday...) - recently acquired NOS (showroom model- never switched on) Ashdown 330 Spyder. I custom altered a 3U tweed Gator case to fit it. 'Heritage black' vinyl Tolex from Mojotone and a Furman power conditioner - backup for my 550 Spyder that Chucky is repairing. A bit less power but the same twin-tube pre goodness as my 550. '76 Ampeg B15N cab w/late '60s JBL D140R speaker - bass nirvana.

Methinks it depends heavily on which one was seen and/or played first.
Except for yer hands, thems ain't blisters. Frostbite. No, that pretty much says it all. What was I thinking anyway? How silly of me to try to apply reason and logic. Tired of shoveling this....stuff outside in blistering 15 F.
I used to do that in my Miata.
Yeah, but ley's face it. Yer a lot more likely to find an unbusted TBird body than an intact neck.Even then, rather have a Tbird neck.
I had an '89 Eunos....fun little car, like riding a 500cc bike.....always got me how short the throw of the shifter is and how quick they can shift.....this in comparison feels like operating a lever in a 19th century steam engine....

Same deal driving the old 80 RX-7 behind it... Like shifting a tractor in comparison.I had an '89 Eunos....fun little car, like riding a 500cc bike.....always got me how short the throw of the shifter is and how quick they can shift.....this in comparison feels like operating a lever in a 19th century steam engine....

Yes - I made an offer and got it for a nice price. It arrived in its original Ashdown shipping box. Which one did you buy?Nice score! Was that the one on Reverb? If so, I came close to buying it multiple times but ended up with a different Ashdown.
Oh my. That is incredibly sad. You have my deepest condolences.Fellow 'Birders:
At 6:00 A.M. this morning I got a phone call that my 48 y/o Daughter, Jamie, had passed away. We don't at this time know why. I won't be on line for a while. I am basically in shock right now.
I wonder if that JBL was once used in the Dead’s sound system. It’s possible depending on where you found it….AM (Amp Monday...) - recently acquired NOS (showroom model- never switched on) Ashdown 330 Spyder. I custom altered a 3U tweed Gator case to fit it. I bought the Shavo signature head. I hate the name across the front but its a handwired, UK built ABM600 Evo4 model in a different housing. I got it for a nice price, so I can live with the look.Yes - I made an offer and got it for a nice price. It arrived in its original Ashdown shipping box. Which one did you buy?
