It's actually Wednesday here, but a II and a tug bar.
“Straight-grained and calm.” It must give you comfort to know that.mind boggling.....

That looks calm.
I'm happy to hear that- and may it continue for many years to come. Perhaps one day I'll be so blessed-
Somehow, I managed to marry a woman who is OK with my grinch-like attitudes toward cards and things like that on random commercially mandated days.
I made a mahogany block to fit under the bridge and bolted it down. The bass is so stable, I’ve never needed to adjust the string height in 40 years! If anyone has a used 2 point Gibson Hipshot they want to part with, please PM me. Here's why, I don't want to put something brand new on an otherwise well used/loved 57 year old bass. Thanks!

I thought maybe the song just had a few hundred bars of rests. You know your playing is bad when you put yourself to sleep...

Actually that was at least 5 years ago when I was getting over the flu and trying to do something normal. Obviously didn't last long. May not have been long after getting the '76.
I've come close, particularly when I'm to learn something new-You know your playing is bad when you put yourself to sleep...

I haven’t removed it. Mostly because other 64s I’ve seen are the same. I think Miles was one of them. I can check when I get back.Wonder about that tug-bar overlapping the side screw - possibly off-set from the factory? Have you removed the pg to see if there are other holes?

If factory positioning of the tug-bar was anything like their cutting of the nut - there were definitely differences from bass-to-bass.I haven’t removed it. Mostly because other 64s I’ve seen are the same. I think Miles was one of them. I can check when I get back.
only when playing reggae....“Straight-grained and calm.” It must give you comfort to know that.
don't fret D, worse when the audience falls asleep....besides, with a couch like that, you surprised?....You know your playing is bad when you put yourself to sleep...
