I do like the legit J neck on my Surf Green PJ. P body. J neck. I’m spending money on it to make it a player that I’ll want to pick up more often.

A couple of weeks ago during morning coffee this popped up on YouTube- very listenable and infinitely watchable-
They wrote all their big hits and Deborah Harry co-wrote two of the better known ones- and it showed.
And her stage persona - never protrayed as provocative or even sexy-
Just very watchable and charismatic -
One of my top bands. Only saw them between Plastic Letters and Parallel Lines. But the show included songs from all three of the first three albums. They were constantly in the 24/7 rotation in my apartment in Irvine (party central).
No doubt you saw them in Roadie? Wow - very talented but I couldn’t help but be captivated by Debbie!

Bass for the day. Put the other new set of La Bella DTFs on it. Sounded great through the Ampeg tubes or the ABM. I swear I'm getting to where I could use the ABM with most every bass. All sound really good, most sound great.
Got to debut my pink 'bird at an absolutely legendary venue.

So it’s definitely been too long since I had a Bird in my stable and was checking in here, but recent events may have opened up the possibility of me commissioning a custom build Bird from Low End in the next year or so.
My question for y’all is: did Gibson ever offer a Thunderbird in Pelham Blue, either in the 60’s or as a newer year production? It seems that every search I run seems to show vintage Thunderbirds in Gibson’s tobacco sunburst, which makes me think that they saved all the fun colors for the electric guitars in the 60’s!
I have a few ideas in mind for this build, so if you have any insight into Pelham Blue Thunderbirds of any year (and photos!) I’d appreciate it!

The Sean Conneries had a productive session in the recording studio today - 7 hrs worth. Robert was blown away by our composition "Rarebit" as I knew he would be. He's recorded now 32 of our songs and mastered another four over 7yrs. We consider him an extension of our sound - our identity as a band. He himself made that point today. More work to do on a couple songs overdubbing vocals & horn (Paul forgot his horn!) but 80% of the heavy lifting was accomplished. Now the fun part, listening to the drafts and offering basic studio enhancements to give the songs their full strength and power. I love recording - magic happens there every time. We work pretty hard on our band - and these recordings are a reward for all our efforts. It'll be a while before they are all completed, but once that happens I'll post the four original songs here.

So how did Greco, BaCH, and others manage to build Thunderbird copies without being sued? I also wonder how Hamer made their Standards (Flame Top Explorers) and Les Paul Junior copies without being sued. I know that Aria Pro had to withstand some lawsuits early on-
