I need a BATA, but (a) then I’d have to buy a BAC for it, and (b) since shipping would be me coming to get it, the price goes up quite a bit.
My heart tells me to drive up and buy it. Just because. I’m trying to find a way to get up to hear Geo play on 04/01 in San Francisco. Not certain yet…

My head tells me buying that is as stupid as me wanting an ACC 360 rig. I’ll still get a 360 if I can. But I’ll pass on everything else. At least I think I will. There’s a minty Ampeg SVT-410HLF Classic up on the mountain with a $400 ask. Tempting to have a ported cab option up there. Right now I run the SVT up there through a wonderful Berg NV610. I wonder how the M6 Carbine would sound through it….

Tell me I’m nuts. Please.

You're a psycho.

2011. Only 400 made. They’re not for everyone. But I love mine and feel fortunate to have it. It’s my compact travel bass. And a very comfortable player. I don’t see Gibson under the current management ever doing them again.

Frankly, I think Epi could do one with the ‘64/Embassy/Newport hardware in their various colors and have a minor hit with it. But that makes too much sense. Could you imagine being a kid and getting one for Christmas? Or even getting one as an old man? $699.00 with a bag.
Sounds good to me!

I’d say get that AD200, they are pretty awesome, the price is pretty good. Seems like it’s been well cared for.

The 410HLF is not a cab I can recommend. I’ve had at least one, (maybe even two, it might have taken me two tries to learn). IMO, a very muddy and dark cabinet, really could never get the definition I wanted from it when used in a band situation with the SVT II-Pro I had at the time.

The AD200 and its companion OBC115 is a great sounding rig, with a surprising amount of definition and highs coming from that ported 115.

You’re mad. You’ve always been mad. That’s why you’re here, on the non-existent dark side of the moon!

Buy it and if you don't vibe with it (as my kids say) send it my way. Enablement 101.
