cool tuning trick replacing the ribbon cables (like on right) with single wires......because the design happens to coincidentally split the PCBs at the tube high impedance points, wiggling them around could definitely be a very cool way to tune these model amps since the wires are insulated and most are decoupled audio paths (lesser shock hazard) Also, since they are solid, they would stay (when done wiggling/coupling more so than stranded.....

Right. Be careful. You don’t need to be grabbing ahold of one of them…

No way.

I read that rattlesnakes are one of the most ‘irritable’ animals in the world. Meaning that they will bite at the slightest irritating thing. Such as a person being in their zone so to speak. Without hesitation.

In addition to that the rattlesnake bite is supposed to be one of the most painful experiences that a person can endure.

Nothing to be taken lightly. Especially around wood piles.

In my state rattlesnakes are protected. People are supposed to leave them alone and avoid trying to pick them up. Definitely good advice. But having them near your house or whatever would be sobering.

Around here where I live exist both copperheads and rattlesnakes. We live in a small neighborhood within a couple hundred yards of a vast forest stretching over 50 miles along Bald Eagle Mountain. Bears live in these mountains.

I enjoy living in a place like this where nature is close to you. You can see nature all around you and touch it. That is reassuring to me in this day of traffic jams and rat races.
I was hiking in Ocala FL with a group once, and we came upon a rattler curled up on one side of the trail. He'd been aware of us for probably a half mile or more, and knew we were coming so it wasn't a surprise. He figured we'd see him and carry on our way, which we did of course.
Surprising them is what you want to avoid above all.

Rattlers are PROTECTED??? Why?
I don't know about snakes here. But many if not all birds are protected--even woodpeckers who work on drilling holes in your house. You "can't" harm them. Do a thousand dollars damage to my house or a bird? Bye bye birdie.
I permanently removed a 'nake Saturday. We've got 2.5 acres for them, mostly woods. They can live there all they want. Get near the house.....

Marshall and I fully agree.

Our lawyers at work mostly seem to enjoy their jobs and get along well. No idea how they feel about lawyers outside the company, but even if I did I wouldn’t tell. They’re cool cats.
I was a litigator. Mostly casualty defense. My clients were almost always liable. Not a whole lot of fun when the insurance companies didn’t want to pay for legitimate injuries and made me try cases that should have been resolved just to save a few bucks. The only ones I kind of enjoyed were when the other side was pushing phony injuries and using crooked docs. There is a lot of fraud out there in the PI “industry.” Taking them down was fun. But the grind was tedious. Large caseloads and rarely any down time.

I’ll take your word for it.

I wonder if my SVT harms them when I blast them away.
